pleased I did 😊.
Outstandingly unique vocals.
Really like the bass work in "Stickers on Your Skateboard", nearly chose "Want Me" as fave track but it lost a half mark for the clipping on the bass drum kick input.
Please may we have your other EPs on BC? ❤
I'd rather spend my money here than give it to Spotify/YT (and I'm sure you see more of it too). Save me from the ads! lol Favorite track: Stickers On Your Skateboard.

He said You listen to the who babe- don’t you? He wishes he was young in 1972 he’s always got something else better to do Cocaine, Kerouac, gin and juice You’re in love with my image babe Don’t pretend its anything else If you want a clean slate Go fall in love with somebody else I won’t mind I know I’ll never be good enough We don’t see enough of each other now You’ve got another girl’s lipstick on your mouth I still feel your fingers on the small of my back And you tell me to move on but I don’t know how I still feel your kisses on the edge of my mouth So when you tell me to move on well I don’t know how I don’t know how Youre in love with my image babe Don’t pretend its anything else If you want a clean slate Go fall in love with somebody else I won’t mind I know I’ll never be good enough I’ll never be good enough I’ll never be good enough I know I’ll never be good enough for you He says you listen to the who babe - don’t you? He wishes he was young in 1972

Got the same sticker on your skateboard That I have on my phone Tell me about how you don’t know how to be alone Kiss me in the taxi until I get home I don’t really know what it’s like to have self control Can I be happy Well That’s up to you You say you don’t want me But I know you do You say you don’t need me But I know you do Say what you want And ill give it to you we go out to that bar you know across town Link at your friends house Have a couple drinks tell me about the things You don’t talk about When you’re sober Baby I know ya You only act like a nice guy When my tops too tight And you know I can’t think straight Don’t think I’ll ever want to think straight Don’t think I’d ever want to think straight around you Take me down with you Take me down with you Can I be happy well that’s up to you You say you don’t want me But I know you do You say you don’t need me But I know you do Say what you want and I’ll give it to you Say what you want I can give it to you

Corduroy 03:58
I’ve been finding it hard to sleep without you baby And ive been finding it hard to speak around you lately And you think that I find it easy to be happy But i think I forgot what it’s like to not be lonely Without you baby Without you baby Without you baby I remember the day we first met You couldn’t speak cause you’d done too much ket But you told me I looked good in my black dress And you kissed me on the cheek as I left I remember the day we first met When we sat on the couch and we watched silhouettes Smoke drink and dance to Bennie and the jets and you asked me baby are you in love yet You asked me baby are you in love yet? I know you think that I find this easy Find this easy So I think you forgot what it’s like to be lonely Without me baby

Want Me 03:15
I don’t need to know your name you don’t have to love me I don’t need another friend You just have to want me My heart and my head Both say this isn’t good for me But we both know I’m too fucked up To listen to them baby we drove around the city last night Then when you dropped me home you kissed me goodnight id like to see you again sometime But if I fall in love again I wont survive baby I’d rather be lonely for life You grew your hair out over summer babe And now you look too much like him Kiss me until I feel okay I just want to get him Out of my head we drove around the city last night Then when you dropped me home you kissed me goodnight id like to see you again sometime But if I fall in love again I wont survive we drove around the city last night Then when you dropped me home you kissed me goodnight id like to see you again sometime But if I fall in love again I wont survive baby I’d rather be lonely for life

No One Else 03:45
Real love is ugly but I don’t mind; Like those bruises on my neck you left the other night. left half your heart in Tokyo, the other in Anaheim And now your lungs can’t handle love - it’s too much exercise. You stayed the night again and it was too soon. You left your shirt on the floor of my room. We stayed in bed until late afternoon and now I’m in love with the feeling Of your hands in my hair, Your lips on my neck, Not sleeping til sunrise you wanting me back The last time we talked you said you wanted to come home to come watch me sing at one of my shows But I know you just don’t want to be alone And as soon as I’m near you’ll want to be on your own. If there was no one else around I’d be the one for you But at this point girls and cocaine are all you want to do When I’m with him you go out of your mind If I say I don’t want you would that make us alright? (X3) when I’m with him you go out of your mind So if I say I don’t want you would that make us alright?

about

"Mess is my first EP, recorded in a bunch of studios all across London with a few of my mates. It’s about the way I dealt with moving to a new country and all the relationships I developed as I adjusted. It’s also in some ways about learning how to say goodbye to people." - Molly Payton
